Description

Small groups of up to 6 participants from any one Higher Education Institution (HEI), which should include one accompanying tutor, are invited to attend a 24 hour residential ethical forum conducted as a form of “philosophy for (beginning) teachers” along similar lines to the P4C approach to learning and teaching.

An experienced P4C/ P4T facilitator will manage the session, modelling an effective dialogical approach to teacher education for those tutors present as well as structuring the learning of the beginning teachers. The involvement of both tutors and students is important because there is an expectation that the 24 hour event will be followed up by a workshop at the home institution.

This event will be run on two separate occasions, please choose one date or the other.

This event is aimed at student teachers and their tutors. Please use this form to register interest for this event. Applicants which meet this requirement will contacted after the closing date.
